The Crew

All our skippers and crew are volunteers, who gladly give up their time to offer our services for the benefit of our users.

• All our skippers and most crew members have received basic First Aid Training
• All Skippers are trained to Community Certificate in Boat Management (CCBM) standard and crew members have completed the 'trust's' own Competent Crew Certificate (CCC)
• 'The Ethel Trust Community Barge' is a recognised training facility in boat handling skills
• 'The Ethel Trust Community Barge' is a member of the National Community Boats Association (NCBA)
